Orgão dos interesses económicos da colónia

The weekly newspaper O Comércio da Guiné, órgão dos interesses económicos da colónia, appeared during the dictatorship, after almost a decade without any press in Guinea. It was released along 27 issues between 8 December 1930 and 4 August 1931.  Directed by Armando António Pereira, who was a native lawyer and the representative for Guinea in the Liga Africana from 1910 to 1920. It accompanied the Madeira republican uprising in April 1931 and the Guinea one between the end of April and the beginning of May. On 1 June announced that it would became a fortnightly, which may be directly linked to the difficulties that followed the end of the uprising.

Published a supplement to issue 18, on 14 April and issue 19, 16 April also announced itself as being a supplement, both issues were dedicated to the Madeira uprising. That same month also published the "Supplément Consacré á l'Exposition Internationale Coloniale de Paris - 1931" with a cover in French and content in Portuguese with abstracts in French.

It hearquarters were situated at Rua Advento da República, in Bissau.
