Until 1961, the newspaper was devoted to propaganda and the support of the colonial project. Meanwhile, in 1961, the newspaper adopted an editorial line that gave privilege to cultural subjects, such as, for instance, in the April edition (#112), the interview to Luandino Vieira (MPLA activist and writer who had been imprisoned because of "subversive activities"), texts about Angolan literature and Mozambican poetry.
