Imprensa de Lourenço Marques – 16 Out. 1926 – single issue – ed. Newspaper Direito, Brado Africano, Acção Nacional, Jornal do Comércio, Emancipador, Luz, Sol, Agulhas e Alfinetes. It published a colective protest against the Press Law by João Belo (3.09.1926).
Note: An ordinance of the Governor Artur Ivens Ferraz, on October 23, 1926, banned from Mozambique, for two years, Américo Chaves de Almeida and Manuel de Sousa Calvet de Magalhães. The first one was banned because of his criticism against the Minister of Colonies, published in Agulhas e Alfinetes. The latter was banned because he permitted the publication of that text - "And thus started the long repression of the Mozambican press".
